Jason Baker
Jason was exposed to commercial real estate income
properties at a very young age, so learning the unique needs of
tenants and owners yielded an education much more powerful than
any text book teachings. Collectively, Jason has over twenty-five (25)
years of hands-on experience buying, selling, leasing, building and
improving real property. Additionally, Jason has volunteered for a
cumulative eight (8) years of service, inside three (3) distinct HOA
(Homeowners Association) Boards of Directors, with involvement
ranging from FCC petition proceedings and lawsuit settlements to
logo design and monument signage installations.
Jason graduated from the University of California, Northridge, with
a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance, with a Real Estate option.
Upon graduation, Jason joined American Golf Corporation’s Private
Country Clubs Division rising through the training ranks to become
a Regional Membership Sales & Marketing Director. Seeking to
couple a successful sales background with direct operations management experience, Jason
transitioned into the film and video post production industry to ultimately become a Director of
Operations inside one of the largest post-production companies in the entertainment industry,
Modern VideoFilm. At Modern VideoFilm Jason learned how to make the toughest Hollywood
directors and producers happy by working on episodic television and feature films like Friends,
Fired Up, Home Improvement, B-Movie, Shrek, and many more.
In 2003 Jason stepped into the asphalt and concrete construction industry working with General
Pavement Management, Incorporated (GPM). Starting as the Director of Operations, Jason quickly
moved into the position of President of Operations where he spent five years making HOA, industrial
and commercial property owners and managers extremely happy with a unique, focused attention on
the details. Jason’s field experience is diverse, proven, and known to be “hands-on” which translates
into a reputation for having the drive and the knowledge to stay one step ahead of the action in
the field.
Jason’s diverse project management experience includes:
- Direct focus in industrial, commercial, office, & homeowners association environments
- Complete removal & replacement of entire asphalt parking lots & drive lanes
- Removal & replacement of concrete entry drives, approaches, swales, curbs, gutters, & sidewalks
- Hot pour & cold pour crack sealant applications
- Sealcoat, slurry seal, & micro-resurfacing applications
- Disabled access compliance, signage, & custom striping solutions to address every requirement
